Surisa Thai Curry

I will admit, prior to knowing Surisa, I knew absolutely nothing about Thai food.. No Thai restaurants in rural southern Indiana! However, I started working with Surisa in 2011, and for a long time had an office right next to hers, so it didn't take long for me to start smelling the delicious food she'd bring in for lunch. My favorite was her green curry chicken, which she brought in extra of for me sometimes.

She and I both left that company in 2015, but I was so thrilled when I learned that she started making her own sauces and selling them! She invited some friends and I over to show us how to cook with them, and we had such a fun time, and then were hooked on her sauces! (I wish I'd gotten a picture with her that night, but unfortunately she played photographer as well as teacher.)

She was very generous and sent a few jars home with us of her red, green, and massaman curry sauces. They look small, but pack a big punch! They're so simple to use: just add a spoon or two (depending on your spice level) to a pot with some meat and vegetables, along with a can of coconut milk, and cook it all together! I then top some rice with the finished product; we've never been disappointed, and it makes for an easy dinner.

The jars are listed for $10.99 each on her website, and go a long way! Check them out, and please let me know what you think!
